I was deeply connected with the changing seasons around me since my childhood, snow-capped mountains, orange orchards, pine forests, lush valleys, and swaying fields. The joy of swimming with friends in the canal in front of my home during the summer, then running barefoot along the farm trails, and feeling the warmth of the earth beneath our feet were the beautiful days of my life.
I saw farmers ploughing their fields, watering, tending to plants, and working tirelessly. One of my favourite activities was burning the leftover stalks in the fields after the harvest. The smoke rose from the burning and our joyful shouts seemed to echo to the heavens.
We were just children, unaware that this smoke is not only harmful to our health but also degrades the quality of the natural air. Gradually, as awareness grew, I realized how even a small action could either improve or harm the environment.
Recently, another significant challenge has come to light; with the rising costs of LPG and load shedding of gas, many businesses are struggling with this. In addition, the burning of agricultural residues is contributing to severe environmental issues like smog in the country.
Here was the moment the idea for Balkaa was born. I thought, why not use agricultural residues to meet energy demands? Hence, Balkaa helps businesses adopt eco-friendly burning fuel without the fear of high costs.
Our products are biomass wood pellets, energy-efficient stoves and commercial burners. Beyond this, we also offer Environmental Consultancy, guiding communities to adopt sustainable practices and meet environmental standards.
